Farmville, NC
The town of Farmville, NC is located about 8 miles west of Greenville on Highway 264, which is the main artery from Greenville to Raleigh. This location is very convenient to the Greenville's hospital and sizable medical community, which is on the western side of town. Farmville's population was reported to be approximately 4615 in 2008 and their roots go back to the mid 1760s when settlers began to farm the land in this area. The town was incorporated in 1872.
